Do You Coach People In More Than One Area?

I have a question for you: Do you love one area more than the other?

The Real Reason You Lack Excitement For Your Offer

I call myself the "Aligned Coach" - but last week I realized there was something big that was still out of alignment for me.

I've been leading with the offer to increase revenue for my clients, but making more money is not what is most important to me.

My coaching business already serves my ideal client, coaches and experts = in alignment.

Are You Sure You're Serving Your Dream Client?

There is a certain type of person who gives you the most energy.

Let's call them Person A.

When you meet them for coffee, you completely come alive.

Conversation bubbles and overflows with passion and excitement.

Time flies by while you're locked in the moment - deep in the midst of an engaging, inspiring conversation.

You wish you could meet more people like Person A, and have more moments like these.

You don't realize it yet - but the clients you are going after in your coaching business are not this type of person.

They are people that have a problem you are confident you can solve - but they don't excite you the way Person A does.

Know what this results in?

Unexpressed resentment.

Resentment that you have 2 coaching calls on your calendar today.

Why We Are The Most Overserved Marketing Generation In History

Imagine going to the gym, never learning the proper way to lift weights, and instead just going hard, pushing yourself to lift more and more each time.

You're going to get hurt, and then encounter a setback, where you lose all the gains you made.

This is what I did inside of my coaching business.

I wasted 6 years of my coaching career being sucked in by all of the "noise" on the internet every day.

I thought marketing strategies like "building my Facebook group" were the ticket to building my coaching business.

I skipped over fundamental steps and went straight for the shiny stuff.

The result: I've had to start over/turn the car around about a dozen times to finally get in alignment.

To finally set the business up on the proper foundation so that it gives me the gratification and lifestyle I've always craved.

Do You Dread Sales Calls (And Want To Outsource Them)?

You show up to the sales call on time, sit on the line for 10 minutes, and the prospect never shows up.

Ghosted again. You should be mad about this.

Instead...you actually feel relieved.

Weird, right? Because without sales calls and closes, you have no clients and no business.

So why do you actually feel sort of happy that you got ghosted?

This was me during the 5 years that I coached in the real estate investing space.

And, when the prospects did show up - I often taught so much on the call that I repelled them from ever becoming clients.

(Which also sometimes caused a strange sense of relief)

I couldn't stand the "sales" part of my business.

Then one day I had a genius idea...

"Why don't I just hire a sales guy and have HIM take all of my sales calls?"

"Then I'll be free from the part of the business that I hate!"

So I did. And (shocker), it didn't work out.

One reason was that I lacked the volume for him (not enough opportunities).

But, I also struggled to train him too.
