"What kind of ROI do you get on your properties?"

"What type of ROI do you look for when buying something?

I usually scratch my head, make some thinking noises, and then go on to explain to them why I don't care about my ROI.

This seems totally backwards. As an investor, isn't ROI everything?

Well, yeah...but when you take my approach to investing, ROI is pretty irrelevant (mostly because you're knocking it out of the park every year!)
