WHAT'S THE BIGGEST REGRET OF PEOPLE ON THEIR DEATHBED?

Jul 10, 2018

I read about a nurse who took care of people who were dying.

She made a habit of asking them “What was your biggest regret in life?”

She recorded all of her answers in a journal.

Afterwards, she wrote a book called “The Top 5 Regrets Of The Dying”.

The NUMBER ONE regret that people had really stood out to me.

Curious what it was?

“I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”

Whoa. Let that soak in for a second.

These are people at the END of their life. It’s almost over for them.

They’re looking back and saying “I wish I would have lived a very different life!”

That’s really sad, and messed up.

Does this register with you at all?

Do you feel like you’re living the life others EXPECT you to live?

If so, why?

The reason I teach real estate investing, and I mean THE reason, is this…

So that you can live a life true to yourself.

So that you have the freedom to architect each and every day.

So you can dive into your passions, hobbies, interests.

So you have time to develop closeness and relationships with loved ones.

Real estate is merely a VEHICLE to take you to that place.

Why?

Because work is where we spend most of our time and energy. And if you’re doing something you don’t enjoy (trading time for dollars), you aren’t living the life you want to live.

If you can STOP trading time for money, you will make a gigantic leap towards living the life you were meant to.

Where you can explore your talents. Flesh them out. See what you’re really made of. See what LEGACY you were meant to leave behind in this world.

Instead of riding a clock, trading time for dollars, and ending up on your deathbed like the regretful folks that the nurse interviewed.

Imagine, instead, laying on your deathbed and saying “wow, I really lived an amazing life. I lived to the fullest.

When I die, I want to feel like a sponge that has been completely wrung dry.

I want to have squeezed every last drop out of what I can do, be, teach, impact, and experience.

Anybody with me?

If you feel like it’s time for you to stop living a life that others expect, I’ve got your back.
